Rose-pink and violet, light pink reverse. Mild, tea fragrance. 25 to 45 petals. Average diameter 4". Medium-large, full (26-40 petals), globular, old-fashioned bloom form. Prolific, once-blooming spring or summer. Medium, rounded buds.
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, climbing. Large, semi-glossy, medium green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.
Height of 6" (15 cm).
Although this seedling has shown rampant growth I cannot yet comment on its mature size. It will clearly get a lot larger than it is now. I don't anticipate releasing this commercially, but might use it in further breeding.
After the 2015 Polar Vortex, I presumed this rose was dead and lost, as were so many roses that winter. However, I recently discovered that it has come back from the roots and is now getting big again. (May 2018)
