Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, before 1956).
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1960 as 'Stella'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Wheatcroft Brothers Ltd. in 1960 as 'Stella'.
Class:
Grandiflora, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
White and pink.  Peach pink, lighter center.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 5".  Large bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dark green foliage.  

Height: 30" to 4' (75 to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
