375 022 "Whatley Crescent". Own roots at Northcliffe, WA Nov 2, 2017. The pink sport appearing again this year from the east (or right) cane. The branch on the west (or left cane) produced the red blooms. No sign of a red bloom so far this spring.

375 021. "Whatley Crescent" Own roots at Northcliffe, WA, April 4, 2017. The pink sport mentioned in my comment of Dec 4, 2016. I still think it is very like 'Briarcliff'. (I will upload separately a same-day photo of 'Briarcliff' which is growing about 8 meters away.)

"Whatley Crescent" early summer, Perth, Western Australia.
When my plant was young, blooms like this with ruffled and indented petal edges were not uncommon. As the plant has matured, the blooms come in a more conventional form.

"Whatley Crescent" is the red rose in this group of HTs found in old Perth gardens.
The pink rose is 'Hector Deane' and the orange one goes by the name "Ethel Street Peach"

The pedicels of "Whatley Crescent" vary in glandularity. Some are almost smooth, others are lightly to moderately scattered with glands. Most have at least a few stalked glands.
