"Whatley Crescent", Spring, Perth Western Australia. I really like this rose! It is healthy, fragrant, floriferous and low-maintenance. The petal count is not high but the bloom is shapely and often has these delightful velvety highlights.

"Whatley Crescent" - the original plant in an abandoned garden. Late summer, Perth, Western Australia. Propagating material was collected and there are a handful of plants growing in other gardens today. The original rose no longer exists. The house was demolished and the garden cleared and new houses have been built there.
