Introduced in United States by Bobbink & Atkins in 1950 as 'Fragrant Beauty'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Carmine-red to rose-red.  Strong, spice fragrance.  up to 22 petals.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Compact, upright.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
