Is the size estimate for this rose here on HMF relatively accurate?

It is apparently wider than what we were listing.

Thank you so much, Patricia. Am I mistaken or has the width already been changed on this site? I seem to remember it was stated as only getting to be 120 cms wide; now it says 120-250. Another question: would this rose be adapted to be trained as an "espallier"; i.e.,fanned out horizontally? I admit to feeling a bit confused about what is meant exactly by the idea of the "width" of a climbing rose...

I did have a small search this morning and added the Wagner reference which quoted 220cm tall x 250cm wide. On the strength of that I increased the measurements. (That was all I had time for this morning as a day of 36 degrees had been forecast (and it was a day with no electricity while they clean the power lines this week. More cleaning on Wednesday and Thursday!). Perhaps others who grow this rose can help with how it grows.

Someone in Germany on this site was looking for Quicksilver here in Europe, as was I; sadly, I don't remember their name,so I can't PM, but I hope they will see that this year, to my joy, Rose Barni is offering it!!! I bought 2 plants...they look good and are already potted up.
