Bred by Marie-Louis Noisette (France, before 1829).
Class:
Tea.  
Bloom:
Coral-red.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  
Habit:
Short, few or no prickles/thorns.  Medium foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
The Battle of Navarino was a naval battle fought October 20, 1827, during the Greek War of Independence.

Breeder Noisette at Brie-Comte-Robert was Marie-Louise Noisette according to 1829 reference.
