Bred by Francois Dorieux II (1955-2015) (France, before 2009).
Introduced in South Africa by Ludwig's Roses in 2009 as 'Majestic Burgundy'.

Purple blend or mauve.  Burgundy.  Mild fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.

Tall.
