I got an own root band last year and it just did not live up to the hype for me. It liked the cool weather for color, but plain white in the heat. Neither the form or scent were great. I have seen other's pictures looking wonderful, so it may not like my climate or may need another year,

I have found this rose to be a bit of a slow grower ownroot, but very disease resistant. Flowers get damaged by wet weather. Highly recommended otherwise.
