Bloom:
Orange blend, light green undertones, yellow blending. None to mild fragrance. up to 25 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.
Habit:
Medium, climbing. Glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: 10' to 12' (305 to 365cm).
Breeder's notes:
We have named this to honour our good friend Karrie Massee, who owns and runs Club Continental in Orange County n ar Jacksonville Florida. The lovely heritage property, which is a family property for Karrie, sits on the River Charles, and if you have a room facing the river, the morning and evening views are spectacular.
Karrie has been most welcoming on the two visits we made to Club Continental, hosting us each time. She is an avid rose grower and has planted many lovely roses all over the property. We felt this rose, a small climber which is continuous flowering, would be a good addition to her rose garden.
Prickles: Some prickles, sharp , pointed, downward facing, dark brown
