Bloom: Rose-pink.  Moderate, carnation fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Moderate, once-blooming spring or summer.  Small buds.   
Habit: Medium, dense, suckers on its own roots, upright.  Medium, matte, blue-green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
 Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
 
Growing: Can be used for hedge or shrub.  Vigorous.  drought resistant.  Disease susceptibility: blackspot resistant, mildew resistant.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.   
Patents: Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind). 
Notes: Sets Hips.  Does not need chill hours to flower. Tolerant of extreme heat."Addison" is a study name for this seedling. All seedlings in the current breeding pool from 2007 through 2010 are given a study name based on a Texas town/city starting with the letter 'A'.
