ARS:
Exhibition name: Baby Dainty Bess
Origin:
Bred by James A. Sproul (United States, before 2017).
Class:
Miniature.
Bloom:
Pink with dark red stamens.  None / no fragrance.  5 petals.  Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Small, pointed buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy.  Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, exhibition, garden or landscape.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Breeder's notes:
This is a clean, single petal mini whose faded blooms resemble ‘Dainty Bess’.
