Commercially available
Origin:
Bred by Charles-Félix Verdier (1829-1893) (France, 1888).
Class:
Moss.  
Bloom:
White, light pink shading, red stripes.  Moderate fragrance.  Small to medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:

Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).

Notes:
'Striped Moss' sported several times in rose history. Shailer's Version was almost white with pink stripes. Ch. Verdier introduced one version as 'Oeillet Panachée' in 1888 with stronger reddish stripes. This is the version mostly found in gardens and commerce.
