This is the best yellow rose I have. In the hot, humid Houston area, Gold Medal suffered dieback and eventually got shovel-pruned. New Day - died. Climbing Gold Badge - only blooms well in the spring, as well as Graham Thomas. Winter Sunset only bloomed in the spring. Yellow Maman Cochet and Rosette Delizy is blooming pretty good. The only other dependable yellow rose in the heat of the summer is Buff Beauty. It just keeps blooming when most of the other roses have taken a time-out due to the heat. I plan on buying more of her. Buff Beauty makes a good cut flower and the scent is wonderful. Her foliage is beautiful and the way her canes gracefully arch under the weight of the blooms is lovely.

May 2011, if you are looking for a tough Yeller Climber, try ~ ROYAL GOLD ~. It can take the heat and the roses are heavily scented here in Silicon Valley. It throws out monster canes that in this area need to be cut back; this climber reached 17 ft in its 3rd year! I rate it almost as prolific in cane output, as the red climber, SYMPATHIE.

When I search for availability for Buff Beauty, you list a Dutch nursery that would ship to the US (Problems and costs I don't I don't even start to enumerate) and you list a lot of nurseries that do not even sell plants online.

But you do not list Pickering nurseries, a favorite of many of us. This is just one example of the many that made HMF less and less accessible and comprehensible. I found that HMF is less and less user friendly but asks repeatedly for donation.Under the circumstances one does not feel the urge to oblige.

Sorry to intervene, but You didn't use the possibilities of this site!
When You click on the Buy-from tab, You can see at the bottom of the opening page, the button: "VIEW ALL NURSERIES SELLING THIS ROSE"!
Good luck.

Yes, Pickering is included in the list offering this rose. The instructions at the top of the list (see the blue shaded box) explain how our supplier Buy From listing works.

We also see you had posted multiple messages to alert us this rose was available at Pickering. Please be aware the process of adding a missing rose to a nursery's plant list is not automated as not all site guests can be relied on for accurate information. In particular, we always double check posts from anonymous site guests and that can drain additional time and energy from our resources.

Please also be aware HMF can not afford to have someone specifically monitoring the Q&A forum 24/7 looking for new posts and immediately updating the database if needed. Unfortunately, our funding falls short of what is required to operate HelpMeFind at its full potential because many site guests, many often using HMF quite extensively, are comfortable to have others support it and ensure its future.

Click the orange MY HMF ACCOUNT button at the upper right to go to your member page. There you'll find a RE-SEND CONFIRMATION link. Please give it a try and let us know. Be sure to check your email's spam folder just in case.

I grew this rose and it was fabulous. The blooms were stunning and constant. It was disease resistant. The fragrance was very pleasing. I recommend this rose. It will do very well in partial shade that gets sun morning or afternoon. Does well without a lot of watering.
