'Buff Beauty' rose References
Book (1978) Page(s) 132. 'Buff Beauty' Medium + Light apricot Remontant P4 H1 ** With its nodding flowers and biscuit colour, this rose often makes me think of Teas, although the form of the double flowers is somewhat confused. It has a sleepy, summery scent. The origin is strangely unclear, given the usual introduction date of 1939. It would appear that it may have been one of Pemberton' s roses, which was held back because it had not the same look as his other Hybrid Musks; and so it appeared years after he had died in 1926. Somebody, somewhere must have more detailed information.
