Pink blend Bourbon.
Origin:
Discovered by Philbert Boutigny (France, 1905).
Class:
Bourbon.
Bloom:
Pink, darker center.  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Mike Lowe of Lowe's Roses says the flowers are a fresh beautiful pink with a darker center. This rose is more vigorous than its parent, 'Souvenir de la Malmaison', and is, in Mike Lowe's opinion at any rate, the best of the dwarf Bourbons.

I believe this rose was named in memory of a young officer in the French Army who died in combat during the 1870 French/German war. Amadis
