However we have agreed on a compromise. I am allowed to enjoy the inside of my gazebo while the ramblers are left in control of the outside activities which of course I also enjoy very much. American Pillar has a stunning growing potential with stems easily reaching 4-5 meters during a summer season even in our Norwegian climate.It is a bit prone to mildew, but so far the mildew has been left chanceless to deal with such a profusely growing plant.
