4/09 - Livermore, CA - Red Double Knock Out's first spring flush is always phenomenal -- but in my area (zone 9) it tends to turn brownish and stop blooming when the hot temperatures of summer hit. I'm going to try moving it to a shadier spot, and see if it does better there.
