Although I don't propagate this rose nor do I sell it some years ago I planted 'Playboy' together with daylilies, Yarrow and Queen Anns Lace in a wild setting at Yonder Garden in Colonie, NY. I think it turned out exceptionally. In this location it is sprayed with fungicide once per week and watered regularly with from a water system that includes a proportioner. In spring all dead wood is cut away. It has experienced so far no more than 15 degrees below 0.
