Hello Karin, there are two pictures on the Roses Loubert site of a hybrid perpetual called Mme Lemesle, 1890 that remind me of your photo.

Oh, thank you! I´ve got Mme Lemesle in my rosepark, too. I got it from the Europa Rosarium Sangerhausen. I´m not sure, if it could be the same, but I will have a look! Mme Lemesle is very small, Petersen dunkelrote RH is nearly vigourous if you would compare them. But, it could also be different soil or condition, so I will have a look. ;-)
