May 27, 2012 - Germany, Frankfurt Region Planted bare roots in Oct 2010, I was full of hope that she might do well in front of the north-east wall. From spring on there is only sun for 2 hours between 10 and 12 a.m.. Already last year she did very well but this year she's bursting of buds and reached more than 1 m in height, still growing. Step by step the colour of the flowers changes from a strong reddish purple to a fading lilac; the more the flowers open the more blue shaded they become. This rose is the absolute highlight in the front garden and people passing by often ask about it. I had never expected a rose to be so wonderful in such a shaded place.
