1st year MAIDEN, first bloom, late May, 2012 Zone 6a, Columbus. The gorgeous foliage is evident. So is the "old fashioned" form. So is the still 40 years later unique coloration of salmon-coral on top of silver-white. This plant is a BEAST. This maiden is now easily 3'x4', has thrown some huge sprays of these blooms, thorny and strong and I have had to actually "nip off" basal breaks as it tends to send so many..........the salmon-orange fades to red before the blooms end.....it is gorgeous in bud, better in mass effect, a very 70's rose with the color change and goes in the same file as Fascination and Sunsong with that form...........
