The blooms are lovely when they are fresh, and smell of baby powder; unfortunately, the freshness does not last long before the bloom becomes "dirty" in appearance, probably from the sun. The plant is vigorous, but I prune it fairly hard in the spring to keep the growth to about 5 feet by season's end.
