There has finally come an end to the drought-period?

I wish, but no, unfortunately. El Nino has produced hotter winter and summer temperatures as well as "unseasonable" rains. It's enough to help us limp along a while longer, but offers no real long-term relief. It's just more of the extremes which are becoming the "norm". Too hot, too dry, too wet, too cold, too windy, too much summer, too little winter.
