There are many red China roses that open with blood-red outer petals, and porcelain pink inner petals. This particular Found China (from the Sacramento City Cemetery) really illustrates that.

If they open outdoors, the pink petals slowly darken to blood red. If they open indoors, they don't darken, and you have a light pink open bloom.
