Red and White Delight. This is one of the nicest of the recent spate of striped roses, its colors clear and definite without being too gaudy, and definite without being too gaudy, and the medium-sized blooms, borne in clusters of half a dozen or so, opening wide from long buds, the better to show off the contrast of clear crimson and white. The plant is bushy, upright and tends to be rather tall. Foliage is mid-green and semi-glossy. there is scent, though not as a prime attraction. Raised by Jack Christensen at Armstrong's in the United States, Red and White Delight was introduced in 1991. the name invites confusion with both Double Delight and White Delifht, unfortunately.
