This photo was taken of a rose in Australia where climate conditions are very different and will effect the color of roses.

You need to understand that roses may very greatly from one climate to another. These pictures are posted by people from all over the world. Even in the US a picture of Joyfulness taken in California may appear totally different from one taken in Maine. Other things that can effect color are soil conditions, the amount of water and the type and amount of fertiliztion. That's why it's important to have pictures posted from many people and places so you can see the range of color a rose can achieve. You also have to take into consideration that not all PC monitors reproduce the same color and that can also effect how the rose looks to you. The object is to view all of the pictures and get a feel of how the rose looks under many different conditions. And when you buy this lovely rose it may look different in your garden too. Please note also that when viewing a picture you can click on the photographers name at the top and that will take you to that person's page where you will find their location.

No. It is not frozen. 'Joyfulness' regularly looks like this here when it is extremely hot. At other times when the weather is less extreme it looks more normal in colouring.
