Gold Reef  rose photo courtesy of member Jana

Czech Republic, June 2008. I grew this rose as an excellent standard, but it was badly damaged in the last harsh winter (2010). So I decided to grow this only as a shrub, but for a bit warmer climates I definitely recommend this as a standard. It constantly looks like from a promotional picture each season! Blooms are unfragrant, but very nicely, rich golden yellow coloured and specially shaped. They are borne mostly solitary and very proportionally on the shrub and last very long. Two big flushes per season. Infortunately blackspot prone in my conditions.
