This is my red rose which was planted in 1983, so it's 30 years old. Strong, upright canes, about 1.5 meters high, flowers singularly (on old wood) and in clusters (on new wood), bright red to dark red, little scent, flowers are extremely rain tolerant and stay on the rose for 3 weeks untroubled by heavy rainfall. It started blooming mid-June (in a shady garden).

This is my pink rose and I have no clue what its name is. I haven't counted the petals yet. Phantastic old-fashioned smell. Photo taken June 18, first bloom

A fascinating creature hung onto one of my roses. Do you know what this is? It wasn't troubled at all by me taking pictures. However, I didn't dare go too near it.

This is my pink rose shrub and I have no clue what its name is. The leaves didn't stay that healthy, it is ridden with blackspot now. Photo taken June 18, first bloom

This is my yellow rose and I have no clue what its name is. Photo taken July 15, first bloom! This rose has healthy enough leaves but is smallish and has only a few buds. They smell deliciously though! Stronger scent than any Lichtkönigin Lucia I've smelled (that's what I guessed it was, but now I'm unsure ...)

I cut three of the pink roses and arranged them with smaller flowers from the garden

This is my pink rose and I have come to suspect her to be Mary Rose. Here you can see several stages of budding. Photo taken June 18, first bloom
