The National Gene Pool collection comprise the work of Czech and Moravian rose breeders. The objectives of the geno bank are to preserve the original varieties, for study and new breeding work. The centre is located on the grounds of the Secondary Vocational and Horticultural School in Rajhrad. The rose garden is open to the public during normal school hours
