Rumsey Rose Garden has a large range of Heritage Roses and was opened in 1995. The late Roy and Heather Rumsey donated two of every heritage rose in their stock from their Dural nursery. These roses were given to the Sydney Group of Heritage Roses with the proviso that a garden with public access was found for the roses.
The garden is open every day of the year to general public and is located behind the Macqaurie St Gatehouse.
