Riverbanks Zoological Park & Botanical Garden is located just off I-126 at Greystone Blvd., in Columbia, South Carolina. Gates open daily at 9:00am and close at 4:00pm. Visitors may remain in the park until 5:00pm. On the weekends during Daylight Savings Time, the admission gate closes at 5:00pm and the park closes at 6:00pm. Riverbanks is open every day with the exception of Christmas and Thanksgiving Day and severe inclement weather days. There is an admission fee.
The Botanical Garden opened in June 1995.
