Petals of "Georgetown Tea," not Mme Lambard, show distinct veining on the lower half of the petals along with a cream-to-buff base of the petal rather than the distinct sulfur yellow of Mme Lambard. The bloom has about 70 total petals and petaloids of which about half are petaloids.

Belgian Lace rose photo

25 Sept. 2010. Yes, the photo is blatantly Photoshopped to hide the distracting and complicated background, but there is no other way to convey the habit of Belgian Lace. It's planted in a wild field of tall grasses. Belgian Lace has formed a low, arching shrub with petite foliage after five years in the ground. It remains unpruned after it demonstrated a distinct dislike for pruning. Medium-sized dog for scale.
