I purchased 2 Frau Karls in 2005 at my local Wal-Mart, of all places. Both are definitely BS and mildew prone in my garden, but they respond favorably to organic spraying. She was stingy with blooms the first year, but the spring 2006 flush was absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately, the 2007 flush was wiped out by the Easter freeze, but she is blooming more frequently this year, though not prolifically. I do prune mine back every year and she responds favorably with new growth. So far so good!
