"Roses: or a Monograph of the Genus Rosa: containing coloured figures of all the known species and beautiful varieties, drawn, engraved, described and coloured from the Living Plants." Published in Knightsbridge.

The plates and descriptions of his "Roses" were issued from 1805 to 1828. The 129 plates were rearranged by rose classes and reissued as Vol. I (plates 1-65) and Vol. II (plates 66-129). The first publication dates of the plates in Volumes I and II vary widely, however. Based on a bound volume of 60 plates as Volume I at the library of the Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa. as well as Fascicle numbers referred to in Trattinnick's "Rosacearum Monographia (1823), the publication of the plates was in the following order:
