Cécile Brunner, Climbing... occurred as a sport from the bush form in 1894 in California. (It is more correctly a Hybrid China, as it is thought to be a cross between a Tea Rose and a Polyantha.)

'Crimson Glory' is a parent of Cerise Bouquet, a massive shrub rose that grows to a clump at least 3m high and 3m wide.  With fragrant double red flowers covering the shrub in spring, it becomes a wonderful specimen but it definitely needs a large garden to be seen to advantage.
