- Un des principaux horticulteurs anglais, M. John Laing, vient de mourir à l'âge de 77 ans, à Forest Hill, où il avait un établissement vaste et des plus renommés. C'était un praticien des plus distingués et très estimé en Angleterre pour ses nombreuses et intéressantes hybridations.
