[1930 - 2014] Joyce Fleming has been hybridizing roses since 1985. The varieties she developed were selected for their disease and insect resistance and their hardiness to Canadian zone 6a. Joyce and Bob Fleming maintained a web site called RoseRoyce with a collection of gardening articles by the Flemings, links to other rose sites, and The Complete Collection of Joyce Fleming Rose Introductions. They welcomed gardening and rose-breeding comments and questions, and were extraordinarily helpful to anyone interested in breeding roses.
Bob passed away in 2005.
