Jean (a.k.a. Gabriel) Viaud-Bruant (1865-1948), horticulturist, horticultural author, amateur artist, art collector, son-in-law and successor of Georges Bruant. Published books such as "Peintres et Jardinier" (1909, 1913), "Jardins d'artistes" (1925).

[From Journal des Roses, June 1912, p. 86:] ...La successeur de M. Bruant est son gendre, M. Viaud-Bruant, dont les écrits horticoles (Bibliothèque Sempervirens), officiellement récompensés, sont bien connus.

[From Lyon horticole, April 1914, Nr. 7, p. 140:] Bruant, établissements horticoles, Viaud-Bruant, gendre-successeur, horticulteur à Poitiers (Vienne).

[From Roll Call: The Old Rose Breeder, p. 55:] François-Georges-Léon Bruant, Succeeded by Viaud-Bruant.
