[From An Abundance of Flowers, by Judith Taylor, 2018, p. 154:] Auguste Boisselot, Nantes....was a nurseryman...He probably dies in 1870, although the records are not clear....In 1859 his work on clematis was mentioned in an article in Revue horticole.
