I'm really sorry, but I haven't got any idea why it isn't possible to add a Pfoto to your comment. All I did to add mine, is to follow the instructions. I had an afull lot of problems in the beginning to understand some of the forums advice. Maibe because I was completely new as far as computors are concerned? Good luck, anyhow, and don't loose your courage! Salut, Eve

Wait a minute, I just thought of something, you go on search, you write your roses name in the box and you let it search the rose. When the rose profile shows up there is a notification in the upper right corner thet asks you if you want to uploan a Photo. You click on to that instruction and follow the signs. That should work because I've already put in some Photos of other roses. Good luck; Eve

Yes, I have had the same problem some time ago. I only succeeded with your last thought. Only HMF Administration,or someone expert in this matter, can explain us the wright way, if it is possible like before changes of the site. Thank you very much for your kind encouragement. Salut, Henrique

Eve,
We definitely have some sort of miscommunication going on here as you have multiple registrations on HMF. We will delete all but one and send you a single guest id and password to use. I'm sure this can be sorted out.

I have planted Guirlande d'amour 2 years ago and i'm absolutely ravished. What a beautyfull rose! She's been flowering all summer long and there is not one leaf touched by any desease. She grows and grows and she is so quaint and really charming. What more could you desire in a rose?

Many of my buds keep turning brown and never open, even when I deadhead the central flower. The plant gets lots of air and more than 6 hours of sun a day. Does anyone know what causes this and what can be done?

This could be a number of things. The most common reasons are:
Too much water. If it's been a really wet spring it can ball rose buds.
Thrips will cause the damage you are describing. They are tiny little black specs which are often observed in rose blooms. You can spray to control them, but don't expect to be rid of them...they are hard to kill because they can hide in blooms still in bud stage. Control is a reasonable expectation.
You may also have boyrtis (sp?) blight. This will also express itself as black or dark spots on canes known as canker.
I'd look at water and thrips first though. Hope this helps

Hi,there! In the beginning of the season I had the same problem. After a short pause, all the blooms where normal.I don't know if it a whaeher problem because we had lots of rain in may. The rest of the summer was really terribly dry, but M.F. was really in top shape.
