Just updating the listed pollen parent for ‘Sam Trivitt’. It is listed as unnamed seedling, but that seedling became ‘Michel Cholet’. Thank you!

Some queries please James. 1. Would you please respond to the Comment in ‘Michel Cholet’ as to which ‘Prima Donna’ was used as the seed parent. 2. In the ‘Michel Cholet’ file we have a parentage of Prima Donna ™ (grandiflora, Shirakawa 1984) × San Jose Sunshine 3. In the ‘Sam Trivitt’ file we have a parentage of ‘Chipmunk x (San Jose Sunshine × Prima Donna ™ (grandiflora, Shirakawa 1984) Once we sort those queries out, then we can progress to your comment.

'This is the Day' and 'Sam Trivitt' are full siblings having the same parents: 'Chipmunk' x 'Michel Cholet'. 'Michel Cholet' was not named when I registered 'Sam Trivitt'. At this point I do not remember which was the seed parent for 'Michel Cholet'. I hope this helps. Thank you.

I've placed my 2 year donation. How long does it take for account to be activated? Thanks!

That's amazing growth after just a few months after germination Jim. This is a non-stop bloomer for me.

Thank you for the comments Robert! It's a good bloomer and works best as a pollen parent for me.

Jim,
Ahh, better as a pollen parent. I was going to use it as a seed parent next season because it sets so many hips but based on your comment I will plan on making crosses the other direction. I'm looking to have it pass on non-stop blooming and disease resistance. Thanks for the tip and have a great Thanksgiving.

Photos of Eyeconic Pomegranate Lemonade posted by Terry Reilly are not correct. They are of a different rose - I think Chris Warner's "Chewsumsigns". Thank you! Jim Sproul
