Photos of Eyeconic Pomegranate Lemonade posted by Terry Reilly are not correct. They are of a different rose - I think Chris Warner's "Chewsumsigns". Thank you! Jim Sproul

Jim,

Very nice photo. This flower is really at its best fully open as you've pictured it. I'm glad I was able to get a couple of these before Nor'East folded. It took a while for them to get established, but they are putting on a fine show this spring.

Were you ever able to use this one in breeding? If so, does it work best as a seed or pollen parent?

Minis and I don't really get along. This is one of only four mini's that I've purchased and am still growing. I'm usually through with them by the end of the first year, but this is by far the best mini I've ever grown. I hope to see this more widely grown in the future. There is much to recommend it.

JoeB.

Hi JoeB,

Thank you for the nice comments - and for the reminder! No, I haven't used this one in breeding yet, but had planned to (and forgot!) this year. So, I will look for some pollen this evening and maybe do a few crosses tomorrow. It produces a lot of pollen, so I would try it that way first.

Thanks again!

Jim

Could you be more specific ? I'm not sure what you mean.
