I have a small garden, consisting of a variety of 16 roses, most hybrid teas, in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. Zone 9b is hot and dry and provides a long growing season for roses. In fact, the climate here makes roses one of the easily plants to grow. They seem to thrive in my garden, even when neglected. Some of the roses in my garden; Queen Elizabeth, American Dream, Pope John Paul II, Chicago Peace, Whisky Mac, Sunbright, Century Two, Helena Renaissance, Bridal Pink, Tropicana, and Miss All-American Beauty.
I love to grow roses and photograph them. Both hobbies compliment each other nicely and provide wonderful diversions for this rose lover.
The most recent addition to my rose garden is "Double Delight". I am excited to see how this rose performs as the summer wears on.
