I am sorry, but your rose does not look like 'The Dark Lady'.

KBW's Dark Lady rose matches with Dark Lady grown at Chicago Botanical Gardens with over 5,000 roses. They have at least 3 Dark Lady together: short bush and lots of blooms. Their Dark Lady is grafted on Dr. Huey, and KBW's Dark Lady is grafted on Centifolia. The rootstock which a rose is grafted on make the growth habit different. My William Shakespeare 2000 as own-root looks like a mini-rose, compared to BIGGER wide-spread growth of the same rose grafted on Dr. Huey.

Hi Tatiana Roses
In addition to what Straw has written, please do keep in mind that the bush shown in photo is a 9 months old grafted on centifolia rootstock hence a smaller size. Could you please be specific with your observation that makes you feel this is not The Dark Lady?
best regards

You have a very beautiful rose, but unfortunately, it does not have anything in common with real Rose Gaujard - the color is completely wrong.

Hello Tatiana Roses!
We are Peter and Celeste Pongracz from Hungary, our roses are listed on HelpMeFind under the name Alkonyat Rose Garden.
We noticed what a nice collection of rare roses you have. Congratulations! Our question is the following: would you send us cuttings from some of your rose varieties on this summer? We wish to graft them ourselves. As a return, you can also choose from our rose list any varieties you would like to propagate - or we can even make a plant for you and send it at autumn, if you do not want to propagate from cuttings.

It would be wonderful if we could get some of your varieties, because many of them are very difficult to obtain.

With many greetings from Budapest: Peter and Celeste

Dear Peter and Celeste,
Thank you very much for your kind comments on my garden. I also noticed that you have quite extensive and very intersting collection of varietie
Unfortunately, I have to decline your kind offer. Here, in Russia, we have VERY strict regulations regarding mailing plants and plant materials (seeds, cuttings, etc.). I tried to mail some cuttings to my friend who lives abroad and was told by Post Office clerk that these items are strictly prohibited from shipping
Thank you once again for your kind offer.
Sincerely,
Tatiana

Hello Tatiana!
Thank you for the reply. We are really sad about that it is impossible to ship plant material from Russia.
It must be also very difficult to order roses there from abroad, right?
With best wishes from Peter and Celeste
