I'm a 60-something woodworker, amateur photographer, and painter. My two young girls watch as Mommy and Daddy do "battle" over the garden. My wife is not as interested in roses and clematis as i am, and is less than enthusiastic in stuffing every available square foot of garden with my "hot pick of the week". As a result, I have had to channel my interests into miniroses and container plants. However, Miniroses have really caught my fancy over the last few years. The photos I upload are almost exclusively of plants in containers (not so much any more ...as of 2012) and that has assisted my photography preferences which often include shooting at night with a very controlled high-intensity light. Here in Vancouver, BC we are a fairly soggy Zone 8 with Blackspot in particular, being a challenge.
