Green Rose,
This rose, as grown at the Heritage Rose Garden & my yard (both in San Jose, CA) produces flowers with a pleasing spicy scent as opposed to the listing here that says "No Fragrance"

Beautiful, David! Thank you! The fragrance of that flower I can almost smell from the photo! I loved the nearly thornless character of the plant when I grew it years ago. I'm glad it's still around there. It deserves to be MUCH more widely grown! Kim

Hi,
Glad you liked it. I do have a large repository to take pictures at. LOL. Many, as you know, are rare or one of a kind. If you would like something from us please don't hesitate to ask. We have a new propagation house & we will put it to use this spring

This rose is definitely not 'Ellen Poulsen', it could be 'Karen Poulsen' though, which is a single petalled rose from the same breeder.

I agree. I grow Karen Poulsen and am familiar with Ellen P.

Possibly it was mislabeled in the garden ? Hopefully we'll hear from the photographer.

I have several other Ellen Poulsen pictures and, after looking back at them, I have to say that this picture was posted by mistake. I will have to wait until spring bloom to see what is planted around Ellen then make a more accutate ID.

For now it probably would be best to remove the photo.
