This has been in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for decades there used to be one at NY Botanical gardens as well but it seems to have disappeared.

Last year me as last photo uploaded there were 3 white in the front 2 in the rear later in the Summer they were up top

June 3 2022 I spent so much time in this garden as a kid living nearby as a teen I lived only about 6 block from it

I did note this year many the blossoms have much paler outer petals as seen hear bear white
