Kiftsgate is enduring The Shade Tolerance Test in my garden. It is 3 years old, still spindly but healthy, clean foliage. I'm thinking that it may reach into the pecan tree this year and bloom a little bit, maybe. Buford, Georgia
Beautifully evergreen in Georgia. We just had extended freezing temps and snow but Amadis foliage is deep glossy green and held aloft. The stems are rich mahogany. It's the prettiest of all roses in winter weather.
My Basye's is suckering through a huge rosemary where it only gets a few hours of morning sun. Never any disease and it scatters blooms steadily through the summer, though not prolifically. What I love best is the apricot fall foliage against the powdery blue rosemary blooms..Hopefully fall 2011 will yield some photos.
