The DA website USA currently lists its as hardy to Z4.

Unless DA Co. wants to tell us a bit more about the lineage of 'Hyde Hall', I would take that zone 4 designation with a grain of salt. The one available fact that it is apparently a seedling of 'Graham Thomas' does not inspire confidence.

I would take the zone rating (6b) seriously, at least if it's a young plant. This is the only HP I'ver ever had that died from cold.

Although I often see it listed as Zone 7, I have a fortuniana plant that has come easily through two winters that cut my tea roses back to the ground.

I've always been puzzled when people have described various roses as having a raspberry scent, then I met this rose and I understood!

The scent to me is moderate-strong damask scent.
